Adam is the director of Our Place Health and has worked in general practice settings around Australia for more than a decade, alongside an extensive career in hospital-based care.

He is a deeply compassionate and patient-focused NP who believes that exceptional care begins with listening. Adam ensures every patient feels heard, respected, and supported—often allowing extra time during consultations to deliver the attention each individual deserves.

With a special interest in plant-based medicine, Adam champions safe, evidence-based options that relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.

A recognised expert in cancer care, he brings years of experience and empathy to patients navigating complex diagnoses and treatments while applying holistic, sustainable strategies to weight management.

Chris Nel is a force of nature in both the bodybuilding arena and the world of physiotherapy. A decorated athlete with a deep-rooted passion for helping others, Chris brings unmatched energy, knowledge, and care to every client he works with.

With multiple Western Australian State Overall Championship titles under his belt, an Australian National Title, and an impressive 7th place finish at the World Championships in 2012, Chris’s athletic credentials are nothing short of elite. In 2019, he earned his Pro Card in Classic Bodybuilding, a testament to years of relentless dedication, discipline, and a never-quit mindset.

But Chris is more than just muscle and medals.

As an accomplished physiotherapist, he has a special talent for helping people at all stages of life and fitness – from elite athletes chasing performance goals to everyday individuals recovering from surgery or injury. Whether you're aiming to step back on the stage or simply step safely down your stairs, Chris’s expert guidance, empathy, and genuine care make him the go-to professional for building strength, recovering well, and living better.

Regina "Reggie" Lau is a highly experienced practitioner with many years of practice across general practice and emergency medicine, working in major metropolitan, regional, and remote hospitals and clinics throughout Australia.

She has delivered care in a wide range of settings and has also served with non-government aid organisations, providing medical services in less developed countries.

Reggie has published practice-changing research into best-practice immunisation protocols and continues to champion evidence-based vaccination care.

She is passionate about providing quality care for all people—especially disadvantaged or marginalised communities—advocating strongly for her patients and offering consultations in English, Cantonese, and Hakka.

Claire is a practitioner committed to providing compassionate, family-centred care that keeps patients at the heart of every decision.

She has over 25 years of experience working in the United Kingdom, metropolitan Perth, and regional and remote Western Australia.

Claire has worked in emergency departments, prison health services, and for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

In addition to being a qualified practitioner, Claire is also a qualified midwife and holds a postgraduate degree in emergency care alongside her NP masters degree and foundational university education.

As a generalist and emergency NP, Claire has well-developed skills in managing a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions for patients across all age groups.

Scarlett plays a key role in coordinating appointments, assisting with enquiries, and helping the clinic run smoothly.

Her dedication to patient care and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the team.

Mel Brooker

Mel has worked in the Mental Health space for over 20 years, including Emergency Psychiatry, suicide prevention, care coordination and Veteran health.

On leaving the hospital environment, she spent years expanding psychotherapy skills in modalities such as CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution focused therapy, and somatic based therapies.

Mel’s work philosophy is based on the belief that Mental Health Issues and distress are connected to a Biological, Social and Psychological interplay not necessarily a disease process. Mel is strongly affiliated with recovery and trauma informed practice, and tailors care to individual circumstances. Interventions always include skills-based learning, that can help improve coping and adapting to environmental, external and internal stressors.

Mel has made a recent return to primary health practice to enable holistic working with both mental and physical health concerns.

Christy brings a wealth of experience in healthcare administration and patient services to her role as Practice Manager. Known for her approachable leadership style and commitment to excellence, she ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic, supporting both staff and patients alike.

Her focus on quality care, operational efficiency, and community engagement helps create a welcoming and professional environment for everyone who visits the centre. Christy is passionate about fostering a team culture that prioritises patient wellbeing and continuous improvement.
